GROUP COUNSELING

Receive Guidance,
Mutual Support, and Opportunities for Growth with Group Work

Group Counseling 1_edited.jpg

Group sessions begin with a grounding exercise. Next, relevant topics related to mental health concerns are introduced and discussed, followed by reflection and sharing.  Group work offers the gift of education, community, mutual longing, and support as you grow and become. It is of utmost importance that all group participants feel safe and secure, therefore confidentiality is an absolute must.

How to Know if Group Work is Right for You

If you are experiencing any of the following, then group work is worth considering.

Helping Hand
  • Worry that just won’t go away

  • Longing to share something, but no safe place to share it

  • Fear that if someone knew the real you, they’d reject you

  • Desire to feel understood and accepted by others without judgment

  • Need to make changes in life, but don’t know where or how to start

Benefits of Group Work

In addition to experiencing support in a safe community, you will have the opportunity to grow in awareness, love, acceptance, compassion, empathy, understanding, and grace ... for the world, for others, and for yourself. My hope is that each group becomes a self-sustaining community of support and growth.

Group Meetings

New groups are offered 4 times per year and meet in person once a week for 6-8 weeks. The next group begins in September 2022. If you feel group work may be right for you, please contact me to schedule a time to talk about next steps.
